Gangad Village is at 6m from Taluka, so is the homestay,
further Osla Village (Which is another beautiful village is at 6 km approximately and HarKiDun at 18km.
So to reach homestay, one has to trek for approx 5-6 km from Taluka Village till date.

- There are some step farms around village where villagers do some farming,
- Sheep herds of villagers, also one can see activites like removing wool from sheep,
- Making wool thread on spindle by hand & then fabric from woolen threads on handloom.

- Village also has temple of Village Diety.
To reach Vaardas Homestay,
Till Sankri there is public bus from Dehradun Railway Station,
Then from Sankri to Taluka there is sharing 4wheel drive vehicle.
From Taluka to Gangad Village , its 6km trek.
